Salary offered by Govt. of West Bengal through this WBSSC recruitment is in the pay-scale of Pay Band – 2: Rs. 5,400/- - 25, 200/- with Grade Pay: Rs. 2600/-
Selection for these Lower Division Clerk/ Assistant positions consists of WBSSC LDC Exam 2013, which consists of two parts - Part I: 100 marks to be answered in 1 hour and 30 minutes and Part II: 100 marks to be answered in 1 hour which shall be conducted on the same day. However date of WBSSC LDC Exam 2013 has not been announced at this notification stage.

Age eligibility: (as on 01.01.2013)
Min: 18 years and Max: 40 years.
Academic Qualification eligibility:
i) A Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
ii) Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer operation from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 months - you should be able to type on Computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bengali.
If you meet the above eligibility you can apply for the WBSSC LDC Exam 2013.
